Govoko Platform Terms of Service

By accessing or using the Govoko platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

1. Platform Overview

Govoko is a subscription-based platform that enables creators to monetize their content through fan subscriptions, tips, and exclusive content sales. Users can support their favorite creators and access premium content.

2. Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old to use our platform
  • You must provide accurate and complete registration information
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account

3. Creator Responsibilities

  • Content must comply with local laws and platform guidelines
  • You retain ownership of your original content
  • You grant Govoko necessary licenses to operate the platform
  • You are responsible for tax obligations related to your earnings

4. User Responsibilities

  • Respect creators' intellectual property rights
  • Do not share, redistribute, or resell creator content
  • Use the platform in accordance with community guidelines
  • Report any violations or inappropriate content

5. Payment Terms

  • All payments are processed securely through our payment partners
  • Subscription fees are charged monthly unless cancelled
  • Creators receive payouts according to our payment schedule
  • Platform fees apply to all transactions

6. Content Policy

  • Prohibited: Illegal content, harassment, spam, or harmful material
  • Content must be original or properly licensed
  • We reserve the right to remove content that violates our policies

7. Privacy and Data

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms. Users may cancel their accounts at any time through account settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

Govoko provides the platform "as is" and disclaims liability for user-generated content. Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Social Publishing Feature (Meta / Instagram / Threads)

When you use Govoko's social publishing feature to post to Instagram or Threads, you agree to the following additional terms:

  • Legitimate Ownership: You must be the legitimate owner of, or have explicit authorization for, the connected Instagram Business or Threads account.
  • Human Review: All content published through this platform (including AI-generated content) must be reviewed, edited, and confirmed by you in the dashboard and sent through your manual publish action, schedule, or an explicitly enabled per-character synchronized-publishing setting.
  • Synchronized Publishing and Delivery Records: When you enable Instagram synchronized publishing for a character, Govoko separately delivers an Instagram feed post or Reel after Threads succeeds. We retain delivery records such as the caption, media URL, delivery status, platform IDs, permalink, errors, and timestamps to track delivery outcomes, troubleshoot failures, and retry when needed.
  • No Abuse: You may not use this feature for spam, impersonation, fake account operations, coordinated inauthentic behavior, or any violation of Meta Community Standards or Instagram / Threads platform policies.
  • Rate Limits: To comply with platform health requirements, we enforce reasonable daily publish limits and minimum intervals per account.
  • Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for all published content. You bear all consequences (rate limiting, suspension, removal) if content violates local laws or platform rules.
  • Revocation: You may revoke authorization at any time via the Govoko dashboard or your Instagram / Threads settings. Upon revocation, we immediately stop publishing and purge stored tokens.
