Commission rule

In-depth understanding of Commission mechanism and calculation logic

The Commission mechanism determines the Revenue allocation of Creator and Partner. Understanding the Commission rules will help you set the Commission ratio appropriately and achieve win-win cooperation.

Priority rules

When purchasing a product, the system first checks whether there is "Product Independent Commission", and if so, it will be used; if not, it will use "Partner Default Commission"

Level 1: Partner Default Commission

Level 1: Partner Default Commission

The default Commission ratio or amount set when Invite Partner

Does the product have independent Commission? → Yes: use independent Commission
Level 2: Product Independent Commission

Level 2: Product Independent Commission

A unique Commission ratio or amount set for a single product

For example: set the default Commission 25%, then all products will use this Commission by default

For example: Although the default is 25%, the "Advanced Course" can be set to 35%

When purchasing a product, the system first checks whether there is "Product Independent Commission", and if so, it will be used; if not, it will use "Partner Default Commission"

Three Commission types

The system supports 3 Commission setting methods:

Type 1: Percent Commission

As a percentage of product price as Commission

example
Product price: 1,000 CoinsCommission Amount: 250 Coins
Applicable scenarios

Products with fluctuating prices (such as limited time offers)

Type 2: Fixed amount Commission

Fixed Commission amount per transaction

example
Product price: 1,000 CoinsCommission Amount: 50 Coins
Applicable scenarios

Low-priced products (avoid too few Commission)

Type 3: Inherit default Commission

The product is not set to independent Commission, and automatically uses Partner to default Commission

example
Partner Default Commission: 25%Commission Amount: 500 Coins (2000 × 25%)
Applicable scenarios

Most products Commission consistent

Commission Modification and Effectiveness

Commission can be modified at any time, but there are special rules for the effective time:

snapshot mechanism

The system records the current Commission settings (snapshot) when the transaction occurs.

June 1

Set Partner Default Commission 25%

June 5

Product A sold (1,000 Coins)

June 10

Modify default Commission to 30%

Calculation examples and trial calculations

3 actual scenarios demonstrate Commission calculation:

Scenario 1: Single Partner, multiple Commission

Product A: Photography Basics Course$100
Default Commission 25% (inherited)20%
1,000 × 25% = 250 Coins (Alice)$20
Creatornet Revenue: (750×5) + (1,300×5) + (450×5) = 12,500 Coins$80

Scenario 2: Multiple Partner, same product

Partner Alice$50
Default Commission 25%$10
10,000 × 25% = 2,500 Coins$10
Creator net Revenue: 17,400 Coins$40

Scenario 3: Rounding

1,333 Coins$200
25%15% ($30)
FLOOR(333.25) = 333 Coins$200
Creator Gained: 1,000 Coins (1,333 - 333)-$30
